Украины); на Украине 23 реки носят названия с основой явор (все они в западных областях - Закарпатской, Ивано-Франковской, Черновицкой, Львовской). Нарицательное существительное явор (пол., западноукр., белорус.) Сл. Ушакова поясняет как "особый вид клена, белый клен": Под сенью яворов густых гуляют легкими роями (Пушкин). Above paragraph translated by BabelFish. The Yavorov yavorskiy Surname of Polish and West Ukrainian origin. It initially designated visitor from the place yavorovo (now the city into L'vov of obl. Ukraine); in the Ukraine 23 rivers are called with the basis sycamore (they all in the western regions - Transcarpathian, Ivano- Frank, Chernovitskoy, L'vov). Nominal noun is sycamore (floor, zapadnoukr., Belorussian.) Cl Ushakov explains as the " special form of maple, white maple ": Under the canopy of the sycamores of thick they go for a walk by light clusters (Pushkin).
