Wade Hone

In addition to his skill as a lecturer and professional genealogist, Wade is the author of Land and Property Research in the United States and he has written a variety of articles for various magazines. His current regular column can be found in Heritage Quest Magazine (now Everton's Genealogical Helper) for the former Austro-Hungarian regions of Eastern Europe.

Mr. Hone lives in the Salt Lake valley and spends portions of the year researching in regions comprising the former Austro-Hungarian Empire doing research, inventory and preservation work. This expertise compliment the work that he is able to accomplish for clients in the Family History Library and other repositories in the United States.

From 1990-2003 Wade served as a senior partner of Heritage Consulting and Services in Salt Lake City, and has now merged his efforts with the Eurogins Research and Education Foundation (2003-2005) into ProGenealogists to provide a wide range of services for those needing assistance in both the United States and Europe.
