This page will introduce you to some of
the services that we offer as professional genealogists. We are set
up and willing to help nearly every person with all aspects of
their family history research. If you don't have the time or
inclination, then we can do all of the research for you and
produce a wonderful and professional legacy for your family -
even if beginning the session with very little information. We
can also help you if you have done a great deal of research but
are stumped with a particular branch of your family tree.
Another way that we help is by providing consultations and
record search services. Overall, there's truly not much with
regard to family history and genealogical research that we can't
help you accomplish. If you do not see your needs addressed in
the list of services, below, then please contact us and
ask for a free estimate.

Mini-Session Ancestry Research
Sometimes new clients like to get to know
us with a smaller research session before digging into a larger-sized ancestry research
session. Often, we can get more accomplished than you
might expect in just 4 hours! If you have an ancestry research problem that
needs solved in records after 1840, and you'd like to learn
more about working with us, first, then investigate this
option. Click here to

Mini-Sessions. Click here to

We will work
to trace your immigrant ancestor from the United States or the American
colonies to his or her origin in Europe, Latin America and many other
regions. In fact, many of our professional genealogist associates travel
to various countries in Europe to conduct
On-site International Research
several times a year. Some countries have not microfilmed their
records, so traveling to these countries is often the ONLY way
to make progress on your pedigree.

We also create and produce audio and
textual oral histories. Our interviewer will travel to your
home, or the home of a loved, one and spend 4 to 8 hours
over the course of a few days, conducting the interviews.
With high-quality digital equipment, the interviewer will
use his or her skills to draw out important stories and help
capture the life of the interviewer on audio DVD. This type
of personal history is a wonderful addition to, or could be
the primary base for, a wonderful family history to enjoy
for decades.
Our skilled team of research specialists in
the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Germany and other
places abroad can assist you with missing heirs and probate research.
Rates vary from $40 to $90 per hour depending on the nature
of research, whether we can have our associate staff do a
portion of the work, and the speed at which you need the
work accomplished.
This service is customized to the need of the estate. Please call 800-596-3230
and ask to specifically speak with a Probate Case Manager for more information about fees and
current turn around time. We have three full-time Probate
Case Managers on staff.
Need just one record, or two?
Click this option to request a
copy of a
specific record. Most single item record searches are $30 (plus
shipping and handling)
and up. You can hire us hourly to search specific sources
for you, too, for
$40 an hour. So, if you find reference to a document (source, volume,
page, etc.) about your ancestor on the Internet or in a book, and you'd
like a copy for your files - visit the record search pages
to find out how we might obtain a copy for you. Estimates are always free

Are you planning a visit to Salt Lake City? A
ProGenealogists associate can meet with you at the Family History Library
and be your personal research guide. Perhaps you might
like to purchase an extended block of email consultation time, or have an
extended telephone conversation with a professional genealogist ...
our Research Consultation services will provide
you access to a professional
genealogist at your command.
This is a new service
that gives you the chance to submit a specific question or a "how-to" question to a professional genealogist.
He or she will provide you
an answer or will provide several research suggestions. This
service is a consultation only. It is a perfect solution for
do-it-yourselfers or anyone who wants to learn some new problem solving
skills from a professional. With this service, the professional is giving
you an answer or research suggestions that you can try on your own. The professional
genealogist will not actually be doing family history research for you. If you're
a do-it-yourselfer and have a specific question or "how-to" question, give our Ask A
Pro service a try!

Family history research is a wonderful gift and can be passed down,
generation after generation. Long after the silk tie
has been forgotten, family history will live on - in documentation, family
stories, immigration records, census and military records and much, much
more.
