I am looking for the source of the name Baack. My great-grandfather came from Germany, went to Garner, Iowa, and later onto Montana. My grandmother was Helen Margaret Baack born in Garner, Iowa. Later she homesteaded in Montana; married in Montana, living and dying in Great Falls, Montana. I realize there is no German spelling matching Baack. I imagine my great-grandfather's name was misspelled when he entered the United States. A cousin, Audy Baack lives in Montana currently and has a son with the last name Baack. I cannot find the name of Baack on any listing I have tried; but there are Baack family members. Where would I find this name listed?

Our school, Central Visayan Institute is one of the oldest in the province. It was founded in 1929(not exactly sure?)by an American, Mr. Fred Warner.The school was first named Filipino American High School. I am doing a research about Mr. Warner. I need your help! In search of my Great-great Grandfather Tate/Tait who married a gal by the name of Mary Etta (Riley). I do not know the date as to when they were wed.
