I am trying to find out who Johnsons' parents were. Johnson was born 5-2-1840 and died 10-7-1924 and is buried in Whitesburg Ga.(Carroll County)Can you help me?

I can only go as far back with my ancestral research to William Webster married Clementina Findlay 18 Dec 1778 at Brechin, Angus, Scotland. No parents are listed on the marriage certificate. Going by Scottish naming convention which was closely followed by the next two Webster generations would suggest that his fathers christian name was either David or James and his mothers maiden name was Carnegie. Possible christian names for the mother could be either Helen or Mary. I have no proof. Can anyone assist me? Thanks, Geoff Webster

I am looking for any information on my grandfathers family. My grandfather was James E.Holdaway, born 1917 in Lodi Virginia, his parents were John Holdaway and Ardella Lewis. This line of Holdaways is from the VA,NC and TN area. ANY help is appreciated. I know that John remarried at least once, if not more than once, Ardella died in 1918. Christian Karl Gremmelmaier b. 27.04.1900 in Sulzfeld looking for his military record he emigrated to Switzland in about 1920 and married in august 1927 married Pauline Bauer b. Sept 9.1905 from the Black Forest region They both died in Canada, I already the details from when they left Europe in 1937 only looking for boarding on the Empress of Australia in Aug or Sept. Though I have searched many sites for Pauline Bauer 1905-1990 from in the Wurttenburg Region of Germany but unable to find any record of her at all. Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated. Our financial resources are now limited after searching for 4 branches our family, we have found the Labbe,. I am trying to locate information on my ggrandfather, James Tolivar McDaniel, father whom I believe was named Andrew James McDaniel and he was, from family lore, in the Civil War. I believe he may have been killed in the war, but am not sure. I would like to find his name and his wife's name and where they were from. I am looking for my paternal Grandmother's family. When she died her name was Leona Warner. She also was known to go by Helen Leona. She has also used the last names of Bower, Herkenstein and Stoneburger. She said she was from Virginia and born in May, 1903. She had two brothers John and Joseph, one sister Emma. Her parents names were said to be Soloman Garver and Emma, Helen or Marie.

My gr gr grandfather, Fredric "REMEGIUS" BOHRER was married to Thekla or Tecla. He was born 11-17-1880, where? and they had at least 2 children I know of: Elmer-Albert Bohrer, Sr. of Ohio, then Arnold, PA. They also had a daughter Annie Veronica - died age 4 of croup, on 6-18-1884 (dob 8-12-1879). ii know that Elmer - Albert Sr. was born in St. Henry Ohio, on 4-12-1870 and Elmer Albert married Mary Scherer in Salina Ohio in 1898.

I am looking for information on my great great grandparents. They were Alonzo Eaton and Margaret Jane Webb. They were married on November 21 1871 in Allen County Indiana. There were three children born to them: Andrew Eaton 28 August 1873 to 25 October 1947 Ambrose Eaton 25 March 1875 to 14 August 1960 Amelia Eaton July 1879 to ?

Andrew was my great grandfather. I know some of Ambrose' family. Amelia is somewhat of a mystery. She married a man named William Brown, and was said to have 5 children, my great grandparents had one of her children with them before they moved to California. I am seeking information on my Grandfather, "John Skirczak". I am not sure where he was born but I do know that him and family traveled from the Urkaine to the U.S. He resided and passed away while in New Jersey the year 1951. One sibling, Peter, was left overseas. .other siblings, Anna, Viola, Tessie and Nell came to the U.S. as well. He married my Grandmother, Maria Damato, but they divorced after five or more years. He became involved with a lady named Ethel Sheehan, if they married or not I am uncertain, the time frame for this would be 1940's. I am having difficulty locating any info on him.
