Has anyone seen any information on a John Montgomery Born 1819 in Ballymena. I believe he was married to Jane Paterson Born 1823 In Ballymena Ireland, but i haven't been able to confirm this. he had a son called Samuel born 1845 in Ireland and is reported to have married a Mary Jane Booth, but can not find any records to verify this. Looking for info on Joseph Harold Russell he was born june,13,1904 in Belledune New Brunswick Canada, at about age 17 he joined the American army and was stationed in Hawaii in the Hawaii islands. We do not know why he joined American army possibly he was too young to join Canadian army. While he was stationed in Hawaii he met his half brother Robert Russell there. We do not know if Robert was in army or just living in the Hawaii islands. I am searching for James Finning. He married Emily Morris (Emma) in NYC in 1851. They are later found in Springfield, Ma where he worked at the Armory. They had three sons in the early 1860's. Emily is then found as a widow in Troy, NY in the late 1860's. James died during the period of the civil war, but how, where? Who were his ancestors? Please can anyone help me to find my half sister I've never met her before and don't know much about her. I think that her mother Carol may have lived in Kimberworth Park Rotherham South Yorkshire or somewhere around this area. My half sister Kerry is about 35 to 37 and I think she worked in the food place Iceland in Parkgate Rawmarsh Rotherham. My dad Nigel Hensby was only allowed to hold her once when she was first born, but wasn't allowed near again as they were very young. I think the mother Carol works or worked at ASDA Dalton Rotherham and I've looked around on numerous occasions but never seen her. Its just what my dad said. I've been told very little as you can guess, but would like anyone who might think they know who I'm talking about to please help me. Kerry has 3 half brothers and 3 half sisters she doesn't know about. I am looking for information on a number of people. My Grandfather is Eugene Burton Larsen born Feb. 17, 1924 Algona, Iowa - Died March 5, 2005 Ulster County, New York. His parents were Jewel Marion Larsen and Bertha Lois Miller both were born and Died in Plum Creek Iowa. I am looking for information on their parents. Jewels parents are James Larsen and Hansina Hansen. Bertha Lois Miller Larsen's parents were George Miller and Katie or Kate or Katie T, Henry. I want to know where they were born, married and who their parents are. This is for my mother's side of the family. As for my father's side: My grandfather was Gaetano Acquafredda born Jan. 18, 1919 died Feb 8, 1992. He was born in NYC and Died in the Bronx. Gaetano's parents were Joseph Acquafredda and Annette or Antonia D'Alessandro. I have little information on them. I believe they were born in Italy and came over to America on the ships through Ellis Island. My Grandmother is Cecela Pickart. She was born Nov, 28, 1919 in NYC and is still living in the Bronx. Her parents were Anthony Pickart born about 1881 death is unknown and Bridgett Boyle born about 1891 death is also unknown. Anthony Pickart is Bridgett Boyle's second husband. She came over from Holland. The rumor is her first husband was killed in front of her and her children by the English army. She fled to America with only SOME of her children. My grandmother Cecelia was very secretive about this. She went so far as to change her birth certificate to say her mother had less children then she did. We think there are more children that were left in Holland. I would like to find out as much as possible my family members. I am also interested in Gaetano Acquafredda's military records. He said he was in the Calvary when horses were being grandfathered out and motor cycles were becoming apart of the military. I think it was the army. I am not very knowledgeable in this area so I am certain I am using the incorrect terminology. I do have his Social Security number but do now know how to use this to find information on him. By and by, all of my extensive research has led me to know, but not believe, the fact that everyone must be descended from Charlemagne. There have been number figures, estimations, and lineages traced back, and I wish I could prove or know my descent from him. Yet I'm of Ashkenazi descent, with ancestors from Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, and Belarus. Is there any way I'm descended from him? Also, I've heard theories about how when Jews arrived in the Roman Empire, they took Roman ladies as their wives, and from there, kept a Jewish bloodline. Could this mean I have "Italian" blood in me? Your assistance on both of the questions is much appreciated; I'm almost desperate for an answer. Thanks!

Lester Floyd Taylor, I am looking for information about Lester Floyd Taylor. He was my grandfather and passed away between 1990 and 1994 in Michigan. I know he lived in Marietta OH at one point in time after WW2 and married my grandmother, Eunice Schaad, who was from Fulda, OH. Recently my grandmother told me he had another family before he met her, but left them to be with her. I believe she said that he had a wife and perhaps a daughter(?). Hello, My Grandmother's name was Lettie Peterson. She was born November 14 1874 in New Sharon Iowa according to the obituary I have located. Since Iowa did not start keeping birth records until 1880 I have hit a brick wall on tracing her ancestry. I do not have the name of her parents and again according to the obituary she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. THOMAS JEFFERSON HUGHES was b. either in MS or SC between 1820 and 1833; and, who was reported to be living in St. Francis County, AR in 1861 when he enlisted in Co. B., lst Regiment (Colquitt's) Arkansas Infantry in Little Rock. This TJH appeared in Alexandria (Rapides Parish), La. in July, 1867 when he applied for marriage documents to wed Rachel Bailey Foster. He may have been previously married and had a daughter named Lucy who was b. abt 1862. He is reported to have had a brother named John. After marrying Rachel Foster Bailey in 1867 he settled in the Hineston area of Rapids Parish prior to 1880. Prior to 1900, he moved into Ward Five, Vernon Parish, and was living there when he died in 1910. He fathered 5 children who lived to adulthood. I need advice on how to trace back a further generation in Prussia. I am researching on behalf of my cousin. His Great-Grandfather became a nationalized British citizen in 1882. He married a UK national in North Shields Northumberland. We have his papers from Kew and marriage certificate. His name was Maximillian Carl Ludwig Tillman and he was born in 1853 in Ahrweiler Rhine Province Preussen. Marriage cert states his father was Ludwig Tillman- an officer in German Navy. However my cousin seems to think he changed his name on nationalization from Elbervelt to Tillman. I can find no evidence of this and think the name is Tillman and Elbevelt describes the area he was born in. Can you advise on how to go forward from here. Have ancestor born in NY 1821-22. Until his marriage in 1844 I've been unable to find any information regarding this person. I've seen his Civil War pension file, his obituary and have even found a sketch of him but NOWHERE have I found information giving his date of birth or the names of his parents. I have located information about the people I believe were his parents but have no "proof". I've contacted the local historian for that area and they too are puzzled as to why so much information seems to be "missing". The "father" left no will. There is a census report with the father & son, but no relationship was given. All I really know old information as to where the "family" was buried in Morris, NY and a series of "clues." I'm trying to find a death certificate for my father, His name is Mark Paul Bennett. His Birthday is November 5, 1963. I was told that he passed away October 21st 2005 in Bridlington (I think) I believe he was born in Yorkshire, but it also could have been Bradford or Bridlington. His mother's name is Marry Bennett. On the 1861 Census, it shows Patrick gill, at 55 gun street, ancoats Manchester, England aged 19yr his parents address, john Gill and Margaret Gill, also at the address, is Patrick's sister Margaret Muldowney, and her daughter Mary ann. aged 30yr and 2 yr, I have Mary Ann's birth certificate, showing her father as Thomas Muldowney, living at cotton street ancoats in 1859, the gill family came over from Roscommon Ireland sometime after 1846?i can't find Patrick or the Muldowney family, anywhere after 1861,i can only think they went back to Ireland. or they went to America, as some of the other family members did, I found them, but Patrick ,Margaret, Mary, Thomas, have disappeared? can anyone help me find them....regards Brian.

Does anyone have information on a Squire Gerald Featherstone from Co. Roscommon, Ireland who married a miss Dalton (could be spelt Norman way D'Alton)? They had three sons and one daughter. 1st son-Doctor believed to have settled in Melbourne Australia; 2nd son Michael; 3rd son -ship's captain settled in Sydney; sister- unmarried settled in Sydney, died of TB. Further information on son of Squire Gerald Featherstone. Michael married a Catherine Caine who was a 16 year old orphan who came to Australia on the only (supposedly) famine ship to Australia. She had a twin brother (details unknown) who was sent to America. Michael and Catherine had 9 children, Luke, Catherine, Michael, Anna Maria (my great great grandmother), Eileen, Frank, Herb, Daniel, Bill. All were born in Bankstown, New South Wales except Luke who was born in Bendigo New South Wales. Anna Maria (my great great grandmother married Hugh McHugh and they had 11 children. John, Catherine (my grandmother) Hugie, Mary, James, Pat, Madeline, Dympna, Herbert, Aloysuis, Monica. Catherine married Thomas Valentine Muddyman (may be spelt with an "A' in place of the "Y",Royal Marines British Navy. their children were Kathleen (my mother), Noel, Alphonso, Gerald Dalton, Doris, Ruskin. I am searching for information on my mother's father and his other children in New Orleans and San Antonio. His name was Frank Joseph Legnen (could have slightly different spelling), who emigrated to U.S. early 1900's to New Orleans from France. From what I have determined, he married a Nathalie Ivy McNamara, had at least two children I know of, Pearl and Gladys. I think Gladys was married to someone named Leary but I am not sure. Frank either divorced Nathalie or just left New Orleans, fathered my mother in San Antonio in Feb 1929,never clear if he actually married my grandmother Josie Mae McPherson. He left my grandmother shortly after my mother was born and married an Hispanic woman named Mary Moreno in San Antonio TX in Aug of 1931, he killed her and himself after learning she was divorcing him. The newspaper article (San Antonio Light) said there was a letter found from his daughter, mentioning herself and sister by name (Gladys and Pearl). My grandmother would never disclose the whole situation to my mother and mom was 70 years old before she ever saw a picture of her father that I found online! I would love to find out any more info on her family for her as she is 78 yrs old and wants to know what her background is. If you have any info please forward to me. my mom would be so grateful. Homestead, Allegheny County PA. I am attempting to trace my family tree and would like any information on a family with the surname 'RICHARDS'. My grandfather Thomas Henry Richards and his mother, father, brothers and their wives left Ponlottyn in South Wales UK bound for USA, arriving around 1887. My grandfather returned to Wales after a short time. The only written clue I have is a 'Welsh Bible' presented to one Margaret Richards, it is inscribed as follows..... Mrs. Margaret Richards, Homestead, Pa. Allegheny County, North America July 6th 1887. This bible came into my care upon the death of my Aunt, one Mrs. Margaret Jenkins (nee Richards). I can only assume that sometime after 1887 that Mrs. Margaret Richards or one of her family returned to Wales with the 'Bible'. I have been told that a number of 'Richards' stayed in the US. I have tried, without success to trace the family to America ... Can anyone out there help me...I am quite sure that I must have relatives in the USA.

His mother appears in the 1900 and 1910 census, but no where before them. I can't even find John getting married, which was supposed to be around 1892 to an Annie Glover. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Looking for Hubert (Hugh) Coon or might have used the last name Bowers. He worked in Detroit at CFS foods as a supervisor? He was my dad's older half brother. He lived above a bar and gave his check to the bar owner for his rent and the rest of his money he gave away to whom ever needed it. My dad would like to know any information he can get. My dad just turned 80 so Hugh would have been born in the early 1900's. Hugh's father's name would have been Albert Coon from Portland Michigan.
