I am searching for my great-great-grandfather who seems to have not existed other than to marry and appear on his children's records. The theory is that he was born in/around the Evergreen, Alabama area which is in Conecuh county. He married Rachel Catherine Burkett and they had 6 children. My great grandmother was their daughter, Mary Frances Josephine Rabon who married General Washington Ainsworth. I know from my grandfather that he was an alcoholic and would abandon his family for weeks. My papa says that he died prostrate on his bed in the Greenville area. He says after he married my gran, she says well before.

Looking for information on an Alfred Jesse Smeeth. I have found one born in 1892 in Strood, Kent, England. I have a photocopy of a photo with the information that an Alfred Jesse Smeeth died in 1917 in W.W. I. The age and location seem to fit. I believe his parents may have been James Smeeth married to Rose Drake but can find no information or knowledge of this in the family. The photo shows a headstone of James and Rose with a small one at the foot of their graves saying "also their son Alfred Jesse who died in 1917 in WWI. Anybody can help. Grave is possibly at Rainham, Kent, England but I am not sure.

Looking for any data on my grandparents that I do not know much about. Have the 1880 Federal Census for Christopher Bracken and wife Bridget Bracken who lived in Highland, Lewis, Mo. Chris birth place was Ire, est birth at 1827, Bridget wife, birthplace- Ire and age 43. The children: John, b-1860, Mo; William b-1862,Mo; Christopher b-1864, Canada and Mary Jane b-1866 Canada. Now Mary Jane is my grandmother. My mother always said she was born in Missouri but it looks like she was born in Canada. Don't know where in Canada the family lived. Also do not know the maiden name of Bridget. Know I have found on the 1881 Canadian Census that Margaret Bracken is widowed and birthplace Ontario. Her husband Christopher is not listed so he must have died. Have no records of his death, where lived or cemetery. Could this be my family line? It certainly looks like it maybe. I do not find a death for Bridget or Margaret Bracken if that is my grandmother's record. Is there a way to check this out with the Salt Lake history? I would appreciate any help in this matter. I am searching for relatives or people with information on my family tree. My great-grandfather, whose name, I believe was Patrick Reilly lived in Enniscorthy and was a farmer that lost several children to illness prior to the turn of the 20th century. He had two surviving sons, Sylvester, that immigrated to Rhode Island, US, from whom I am descended. He had a brother, I think his name was David. Before Sylvester Reilly immigrated david was rumored to have gone to Cork City to work on the docks. Not much is heard of him afterward. I also had cousins descended from a marriage and I think the name of the man who married one of my great aunts may have been Boulware, or something similar. Her sons were in the construction or farming equipment business when last I was informed. I was once told they were members of a group that does not drink alcohol after taking an oath, the name may be The Pioneers(?). It is apparently a Catholic organization. Anyone with any information about my family in Enniscorthy, Wexford, Cork or their descendants could do me a great service by putting me in touch with them. Hello, my name is O Jackson Meyer IV. According to family legend, the Jackson in my name can be traced back to Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson. I have been trying to trace my family tree, but I have run into a dead end. My great great grandfather was named Oscar Meyer. He was married to Berta Jackson, who was born in Tennessee in 1868. They married in 1885. When she was alive, she was very proud of the Jackson name and said that she was related to Stonewall Jackson, but I cannot find any information about her before she was married. She had a younger brother (born around 1870), Earnest H, who lived with them in 1900 in St. Louis, Mo. Her father was born in North Carolina and her mother was born in Kentucky. They first lived in Kentucky, and had one son, Oscar Jackson Meyer, there. Oscar Jackson Meyer became a Kentucky Colonel and married Louise Peterson Thweatt, granddaughter of Peterson Thweatt, Comptroller General of Georgia during the Confederacy. They must have had then moved to Tennessee, because they had 3 other children (James M, Jonathan C, and Bertram C) in Tennessee. The Jackson Family - William Brinckerhoff Jackson. I am doing research on my Mother's side of the family, the Jackson's. My Great Grandfather William B. I am looking for info. On the Neder family. I recently found a GG grandparents name in Mexico on a death record of his son Vincente Rizzi Neder he was married to Mariana Quinones. No maiden name for the grandmother. There names are Jose and Juanna Neder. I Would like to find records in Syria. So if any one knows how to get records from here please let me know. I say Syria because Vincente was born there.

They were married at Branch County, Michigan 1854. They lived in Steuben County & Lagrange County, Indiana. John Isaac died in 1870, Lagrange County, Indiana. Phebe Ann then married Edgar Welch. They were in St Joseph County, Michigan in 1880. (John Isaac Guthrie's dad, John Guthrie, married Phebe Ann Cashner's mom, Eliza Cashner in 1857, Branch Co., Michigan.)
