1919 Jan 5 - Arrest. "Seven Colored Men Arrested. The police raided the rooms of Roy Pryor on west Main street at 1 o'clock Sunday morning and gathered in seven of Decatur's colored citizens for gaming. Roy Pryor pleaded guilty as keeper of the house and was fined $26.80. Joe Raglan, John Page, A. J. Norman, Steve Lett, Warren Page, and William Carter were each fined $21.80 on pleading guilty to being inmates." 1919 Aug 21 - Arrest. Mrs. Roy Pryor of 313 West Main street and Fay Price of 864 North Monroe street, two colored women, were arrested at 9:40 Wednesday night at the corner of East Main and Franklin streets for fighting. They pleaded guilty before Justice Noble and each was assessed $5.30.
