Sources
The basis for the reconstructed lists for Pennsylvania are the Pennsylvania German Pioneers by Strassburger & Hinke (FHL #974.8 B4pg v.42-44) which includes mostly lists of heads of households or adult men who arrived in Philadelphia from 1727-1808. The following sources are heavily used in the first version of this database because they give extended family information (from German Church records) and include a ship index. They include much more information than what is used in these reconstructed passenger lists and anyone interested should consult them. Links to where they can be purchased are included below:
