1736 Princess Augusta

Many of the passengers from the 1736 Princess Augusta were from the same Swiss villages. Some migrated to America directly, while others, before migrating to America, made a small stay in a French (Alsatian) little region called Le Ban de la Roche. Therefore, they took with them bandelarochians without any Swiss origin and even Catholic neighbors from Saulxures. You can read this story at this address (in French of course): Les voyageurs de la Princess Augusta.
