This was a group of 10 Swiss Mennonite families who settled on 10,000 acres near the head of Pequea Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Samuel Guldin wrote a letter to his friends in Switzerland concerning his journey across the ocean and conditions he found in Pennsylvania at the time of his arrival (Published in the Journal of the Presbyterian Historical Society, Vol. XIV, 1930, pp.28-41; 46-73).
