City Directory records searches start at $30.00 plus $4.95 postage and handling, hit or miss. More fees info. Please fill out the form below as completely as possible. Common surnames have a $30 additional surcharge. Specific information will improve results.

You'll receive the results of this search in 7-10 business days after receipt of a deposit for $34.95. You will be given the opportunity to pay via secure server with your credit card after submitting this form. Payment is required before we begin.

  • A list of the microfilm or microfilms examined,
  • City directory records
  • An invoice for your records.

Fees

If you are not sure which city directories are available, please visit the Family History Library online card catalog or send us a request for an estimate.  Most large Metropolitan city directories (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc.) are available at the Family History Library up to the year 1935.
