Neil D. Thompson, PhD, LLB, CG, FASG, FSG

Dr. Neil D. Thompson works as a genealogist and an attorney. He received his AB from UCLA, his PhD from Columbia University in New York City, and his LLB at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, MA. Dr. Thompson received his certification from the the Board for Certification for Genealogists in genealogical research in October 1976 and was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists in 1974.

Neil Thompson specializes in Colonial U.S., British 16th-18th century, and medieval and royal families genealogy research. He is well-versed in the records and resources of New England, the U.S. South, British Isles, Canada and Western Europe. He is fluent in French, old English and Latin.
