  • Irish and Irish Immigration Studies Page Southern Illinois University of Carbondale - This page contains information about the Irish Studies programs, events, and resources at SIU as well as Irish studies events for 1997-98 and Irish links on the Web.
  • Irish Rebels to Australia 1797-1806 - This database contains details of Irish convicts who were transported to New South Wales in the period 1791-1830.
  • Clans of Ireland Ltd. (Grange Clare, Kilmeague, Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland) publishes a newsletter giving the details of various clans which have been formed for particular Irish surnames and the clan gatherings that they hold. The clan gatherings offer an opportunity for members to socialize and learn about their Irish heritage.
  • Heritage of Ireland - This site maintained by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht & the Islands includes information about historic sites in Ireland, parks and gardens, tours, inland waterways, arts and culture, as well as interactive maps. The site may be viewed in Gaelic, English, French, Spanish, Italian or German.

  • Kennys Bookshop and Art Gallery - This site includes a catalogue of books, which is searchable by author, title, year of publication or subject. Sections of the catalogue concern ecclesiastical studies, emigration, genealogy, history, and local history among other topics. There are sections listing new books and forthcoming titles.

  • The Great Registers of Voters- 61,691 Foreign-Born Voters of California in 1872 - This is a index to information contained in the compilation of "The Foreign-Born Voters of California in 1872." It contains surname, given name(s), stated age at the time of registration, place of birth as stated in the Register, and a database record number.   • Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet: Ireland and Northern Ireland - Cyndi's List contains the most links to genealogy sites of any site on the Internet. The "Ireland and Northern Ireland" page is a lengthy catalog of Irish genealogy and related Internet sites, some with brief descriptions.
  • Glens of Antrim Historical Society - The site includes information about the society and its meetings and publications, including the journal The Glynns.
  • The Parish of Outeragh, County Tipperary, Ireland - A transcription by Elizabeth Kelley Kerstens of names and details for this civil parish from the Tithe Applotment Books (1825), Griffiths Primary valuation (1850)and the Tithe Defaulters Index (1831). There's also a scanned copy of the Griffith's Valuation map made from the original Ordnance Survey Map (#76) with the boundaries and numbers of properties from Griffith's drawn.

  • Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland - The web site lists maps, other products and services available from OSNI (Belfast) with their prices.
  • Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland - Addresses and information about The Orange Standard newspaper, links to individual Lodge sites, and links to other Orange jurisdictions in the United Kingdom and North America.
  • Ancient Order of Hibernians in America National Web Page - This site includes links to particular AOH divisions in the United States as well as heritage links.
  • Masonic Links Page - This web site allows access to many other Masonic web sites such as "Freemasonry on the Internet" and sites for lodges located around the world.
  • Garda Siochana Historical Society - There is information about the Ireland's National Police, the society and its museum and archives, historical pages about the Garda, the roll of honour (murdered Gardai), links including to other police museums and police sites, news and events.
  • Royal Irish Academy - The RIA is a scholarly institution founded in 1785. The site includes information about its research projects, library, and publications.
  • Origins: Ireland, Scotland and England Records Online - Indexes to births, marriages and deaths for these counties. A fee is charged to access this database, but you can examine and download several pages of data, including images of original records.
  • Tiara: The Irish Ancestral Research Association - This site Includes pages with links to Irish library catalogs, book stores, publishers, newspapers, periodicals and journals, emigration and passenger Lists, and more.
  • The Northern Ireland Genealogy Centre - Good, basic suggestions and information on how to research your Northern Ireland ancestors.
  • Canadian Military Heritage Project - This project's goal is to preserve the records and memories of Canadians who served their country in the military. The pages provide historical background for each conflict, chronological time lines, statistics, battles, weaponry, uniforms & equipment and biographies of soldiers. There are some extracted muster rolls for conflicts before 1900.
  • Chickasaw Historical Research - A history of the Chickasaw Nation, including extracted documents that mention intermarriages with Scots-Irish emigrants to the southern United States. Documents include letter treaties, marriages, censuses (such as the 1818 census roll), land sales in Mississippi (1836-1937, including township, section and range of property), and a list of Chickasaw traders in 1766.
  • Irish Genealogical Society of Wisconsin - The IGSW's web site contains information about the society's objectives, how to join, details about its meetings and books available at the meetings, links to Irish genealogy resources on the web, genealogical repositories and resources in Wisconsin, and the society's upcoming research trips to Madison, Chicago, and Washington DC.
