Consultation
If you love to do your own genealogy research, but you are having difficulty making progress on a particular Irish ancestor, ask us for help! ProGenealogists associates have conducted research at the Family History Library for a combined span of over 90 years and they are all well acquainted with the resources available. Kyle J. Betit can provide consultations by mail or fax; telephone; or in person, at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Irish consultations are billed hourly at the rate of $60.00 per hour.
Order Consultations By Mail or by Fax
Kyle J. Betit or one of his ProGenealogists associates specializing in Irish research, will examine your family group sheets, pedigree charts, review your previous research, and offer you research options to explore on your own. You can request that Kyle do the consultation specifically, but you his availability will be based upon his current work load. At your request, Kyle can assign your consultation question to one of his associates to may speed up the process.

You can send data to us via e-mail, postal mail or fax (801) 596-3380 24 hours per day. We will respond ASAP.
E-mail, Postal Mail or Fax the following:
- Family Group sheet and Pedigree chart with as many detailed vital records data (birth, marriage, death) as is currently available on the family,
- A list of sources and documents that you've previously studied,
- A specific lineage question or a statement of your research goal,
- A statement regarding any difficulties that you've experienced researching this family.
Sending Payment - Two Options
- You may send a check or money order to our postal mailing address for the number of hours purchased.
- Credit card payments for the number of hours purchased are also accepted.
You will Receive:
- Your documents will be returned,
- At least two (2) research suggestions
- An invoice and receipt
At the Family History Library
If you are traveling to Salt Lake City and would like to meet one of us at the library so that we can assist you in extending your ancestry, we are available for private or group consultation on-site at the rate of $60 per hour. Contact us about your plans, offer us a range of dates that you will be available to meet. Once we have agreed upon a time, you may simply call us at (801) 596-3230 when you get into Salt Lake City to verify your itinerary.
