Maps

There are several fine maps published on the Internet. The images of maps below show the post-Treaty of Trianon boundaries for the former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy region. These maps were originally produced for a magazine article in the September-October issue of Heritage Quest Magazine. They were produced and are copyrighted by E. Wade Hone, 2003. On this site can be found maps showing the modern countries that made up the old Hungarian Empire, as well as the counties of the former Hungarian Empire.

Simple, colorful, and well done Hungarian maps especially for Internet users represent Hungary in 1910.

The Federation of East European Family History Societies has a wonderful collection of historical maps relating to Hungary and the Austro-Hungarian empire.

A full range of information on administrative divisions of Hungary in various time periods is found on Wikipedia.

A really nice collection of modern and historical maps of Hungary is found at the University of Texas, Austin.
