The Alphabetical and Reverse Sort Listing of towns in Schleswig-Holstein which was on this site before, I have taken this off temporarily as the author wants to consider publishing it separately.
A colleague, Loraine Ferguson, former publisher of the German Genealogy Digest, has been creating a comprehensive genealogy gazetteer for Schleswig-Holstein for many years. She has now completed it and publshied it in the FamilySearch Wiki. It lists each town, followed by the Kreis (county) to which it belongs and then a reference to the parish (Evangelical). It also includes a "reverse sort" list of towns to help you find towns that are hard to read. Find it under Schleswig-Holstein: Place Names.
