They had a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Barnhouse who was christened on 31 Mar 1763 at the St. Paul Protestant Episcopal Church in Baltimore City, MD. I think this man may be a brother of my ancestor, John Barnhouse (b. 1745) who died in Randolph Co., WV. There aren't very many records available to me for Baltimore which include he and his family. They lived in West Virginia. they had Leo, Gilbert, Herbert, Audry, Ruby, and my mother Opal Agnes. Now I am told that my grandpa was older than my grandma, and was married before her and had children - how many I do not know. Last I knew of my mom's brothers and sisters, Leo was dead, Gilbert was dead, Audry was dead, I think and my Aunt Ruby dead, and Herbert of Morgantown, West Virginia dead. The only places in West Virgina I know they lived was Harrison Co. WV and Doddridge Co. WV and Wetzel Co. My mother married a SWIGER - Clarence SWIGER and they lived around Rinehart, WV, near Wallace. I would love to know where the picture of their son Olonzo John Brannan was found. And whole on the subject of Brannans, it lists Olonzo's father as William "Wrighter" Brannan Sr. and I was curious if you know why he was called "wrighter ." My line is from PA and OH, Annabel Copper & RC (Barney) Barnhouse, from PA moved to CA around 1949. 6 kids (5B & 1G) Robert, George, William, Richard, Daryl (Butch), Darlene all born in PA.
