My wife, Rita M. Dotts, b. 21 Apr 1929, is the three times great granddaughter
of Juliana Barnhouse b. 14 Mar 1791. Her daughter, Delilah Barnhouse Kendall
married Thomas Benton Dotts, b. 23 May 1802, in Frederick Co MD. I have a bunch
of descendants of Delilah Kendall and Thomas Benton Dotts. Anyone interested?

Hello Barnhouses! To put the finishing touches on research I am conducting via
the Historic Preservation Program at Northern Virginia Community College, I am
trying to establish the year the Barnhouse family began their residence at the
Noland Mansion outside Lucketts here in Loudoun and whether it was as owners or
tenants. Reference to primary source documentation would be extremely welcome.

I guess when you get to a point you have to know where and who you are before
you go on in life. So I started looking at my family tree. My parents are Ralph
and Edith. My grandfather was Hunter Fairfax Barnhouse. (The line then goes John
Wesley Barnhouse, Willis O. Barnhouse, Thomas Holsten Barnhouse, and Philip
Barnhouse). Hunter F. Barnhouse was born 20 Jan 1903 in West Virginia. He died
27 Jan 1958 in Athens, Athens Co., Ohio and was buried in Slate Chapel Cemetery
Slate Creek Road in Elizabeth, Wirt Co., West Virginia. Hunter married Geraldine
Mozells Farnsworth on 21 Dec 1929 in Wood Co., West Virginia. Geraldine was born
1910 in West Virginia and she died 1980. She was buried with her husband. I have
traced back to Philip Barnhouse from Maryland. I would like to go back further

Jacob Barnhouse b. 21 Oct 1814 Springfield Twp Jefferson County in Ohio d. 19
Aug 1845 Morgan County in Ohio His genealogy lists children born after his 1845
death Sarah abt 1848-1852 listed in census as a daughter living with Jacobs
widow, as well as a son Jacob b. 4 Dec 1846 The father however d. 19 Aug 1845 I
can find nothing to verify his death date of 1845 Can you point me in any
direction I would like to figure out where the children fit in? (those born
