John Earl "Early" Barnhouse and his wife, Katie Bessie Corbin married June 8, 1918. Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Barnhouse of 112 West Seventh Street celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at their home. Out of town guests were their daughter and husband, Lorraine and Wesley Earls and sons, Johnny and Wayne of San Antonio. Mrs. Ruth E. Wright of Long Beach, Calif.; Howard Barnhouse of Manhassett, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Barnhouse, and son, John, of Kerrville; Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Peterson, of Victoria; and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Barnhouse of Houston. Barnhouse has practiced law in Alice for the past 30 years. The couple plan to leave Monday for a vacation in Colorado, Las Vegas and California. Photo sent by Beverly Nightphyre@aol.com.
