Information from Biography: Sheppard is found in the 1870 Monroe County, Ohio census and the 1890 Census for Tyler County Union Veterans and Widows. He was in Co. F of the 116th Ohio Infantry from 8 Aug 1862 to 17 Jun 1865. In 1890 he lived at Lonetree, Tyler County, West Virginia. He is in the 1910 Wood County, West Virginia census, Steele District. Stella FLEMING, age 18, is also in the household listed as a step-daughter.
