4. Sheppard BARNHOUSE (Michael) was born 8 Sep 1842 in Monroe County, Ohio. He died 23 Feb 1911 in Wood County, West Virginia and was buried in Wigal Cemetery, Parkersburg, West Virginia. [Notes] Sheppard married (1) Elvira Jane KEAN, daughter of John Nelson KEAN and Lydia A. MCCAFFREY, on 20 Jul 1867. Elvira was born 27 May 1849. She died 13 Apr 1895 in West Virginia. [Notes]
