This John BARNHOUSE was found enumerated in the 1800 census of Somerset County, Pennsylvania with William BARNHOUSE, born about the same time as John BARNHOUSE, and a Christian BARNHOUSE, who was old enough to have been the father or uncle of John BARNHOUSE. His tombstone lies in the First Reformed Cemetery (a German Lutheran Church) in Sugarcreek, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. John married Catharine _____. Catharine was born about 1774 in Pennsylvania and died between 1851 and 1860 in Ohio.
