66. Vernon Carlyle MCKANE (Margaret Ann BARNHOUSE , Thomas , John , Jacob ) was born 10 Jan 1887 in Alma, Nebraska. He died Nov 1939 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Vernon married (1) Anna M. SYNEK. Anna was born 1890. She died Apr 1940 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Vernon also married (2) Sylvia Frances BRANEN on 21 Oct 1911. Sylvia was born 29 Jan 1893. She died 29 Sep 1923 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

They had the following children:

	79	M	i	Baby MCKANE was born about 1912. He died in Steele, North Dakota.
+	80	F	ii	Evelyn Leon MCKANE was born 28 Feb 1913.
+	81	M	iii	E. Thomas MCKANE was born 14 Apr 1917.

67. Cornelia Arabelle MCKANE (Margaret Ann BARNHOUSE , Thomas , John , Jacob ) was born 25 Feb 1890 in Casey, Iowa. She died 29 Nov 1977 in Steele, North Dakota.  Cornelia married James William SMITH on 1915 in Jamestown, North Dakota. James was born 17 Sep 1886 in Viewtown, Virginia. He died 22 Dec 1929 in Crystal Springs, North Dakota.

They had the following children:

	82	F	i	Leila Blanche SMITH was born 5 Dec 1915 in Tappen, North Dakota.
				Leila married Joseph TJORNHOM on 1942. Joseph was born 1912. He died 1944.
	83	M	ii	Clare Kenneth SMITH was born 1918.

76. Irvin BARNHOUSE (Schuyler Colfax , James Mccount , William , Jacob ) was born about 1900.  Irvin married Matilda WINTER. Matilda was born about 1900.

They had the following children:
