NOTES:  Dr. GREEN immigrated to the United States and arrived in Port of New York on 5 May 1827. He fought in the battle of Waterloo as a medic with the British forces. He settled in Frederick Co., Virginia. Dr. John GREEN married 1) 19 Aug 1835 Alice RIDINGS. He was naturalized in 1844 and was the father of 11 children. He was the first physician in Mineral County after its formation. "History of Old Frederick County, Virginia," Page 182.
