Barnhouse Genealogy Guests 2005
Interesting but suspect I belong to a different "Barnhouse" group. Father was John Robert Barnhouse, Mother was Harriett? Motes. One of six children: Robert Gene Barnhouse, Babara Ann Barnhouse, David Richard Barnhouse, Patricia Louise Barnhouse, April Lynn Barnhouse. All were from NW Ohio and the Akron, Ohio area.
Don't really know if I'm related or not, I'm from Oklahoma City.
I am the son of Denvil Barnhouse from Craigsville West Virginia. My grandfather was Thomas Holder Barnhouse from Roan county WV I'm trying to locate Angie Oplotnik, she sent a Christmas card to my brother Jim in Richwood WV and I'm trying to locate her. Hi, I really enjoy your site. I am trying to locate info on my birth father, his name was William McKinley Cottrill (or Cottrell). He was born in Chillicothe Ohio, on March 10, 1921. We don't know who his parents were, because he was placed in a foster home when he was about 2 yrs old. It is possible his father's name was George and mother's name might have been Hazel, but we have no clue to her maiden name.
My mother's name is Ruth Virginia Barnhouse. She was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1926. Her parents were Thelma and Clyde Barnhouse. Mother and I had started researching her genealogy and found a great deal of information at the Ohio Historical Society. Unfortunately, Mother passed away December 23, 2004. We unable to complete her research. She was so excited about our discoveries too. Since Mother passed, we have found numerous pictures that we think someone would be interested in seeing. Many we cannot identify the parties in them. I would like to continue to honor my Mother's family and complete her wishes. Where do I start? Thank you, Pamela Weiser.
