Information from 1850 Census:  Jesse COONTZ is living with Frederick COONTZ, who is listed as head of household. Jesse is male, white, age 13 and born in Virginia.

Information from Biography:
   "The children of Jesse, grandson of Philip KOONTZ and the second son of Frederick and Rachael (POLING) COONTS, and Lydia (RAMSEY) COONTS, were:
    1. Mapalona 'Lonie,' born August 12, 1857, married Will BOOTH.
    2. Frederick Monroe, born April 27, 1860, married Amanda Jane BOOTH on November 1, 1881. She was the daughter of Frederick K. BOOTH, who donated land for Lambert Chapel.
    3. Varney, born May 15, 1864, married Jacob COONTS in 1883.
    4. Henry, born September 26, 1868, married Angelica PRICE, the daughter of John PRICE, on December 12, 1887. Angelica died April 30, 1942."
