Andrew Jackson BARNHOUSE, 65, of North Baltimore, died at 3 o'clock friday afternoon at the McComb hospital following five days of illness.  Mr Barnhouse, the son of Jerry and Myrtle (Franks) Barnhouse, was born April 7, 1881, in Van Buren.  On September 28, 1938 he married Stella Crist Barnhouse who survives with one step-granddaughter, Lois Saylor, at home. There are seven children by a former marriage surviving.  They are Ada Swinehart, Van Buren; Myrtle Wate, Angola Ind; John Barnhouse, Gibsonburg; Harold Barnhouse, Gibsonburg, and Thelma Barnhouse, Daisy Ellen Barnhouse, and Rolland Barnhouse, all of Angola, Indiana.  There are nine grandchildren.  A Sister, Mrs John Lyon, Van Buren, and a brother Charles Barnhouse, Van Buren, also survive.  One brother John Barnhouse, preceeded in death. Mr. Barnhouse was a member of the United bretheren church.Submitted by Robert Lyon.

Charles F. BARNHOUSE, 71, Van Buren, died at 4:30 pm, yesterday in Blanchard Valley Hospital. He had been ill two weeks. Born January 1, 1893 in Allen township, he was teh son of Jeremiah and Mary (Franks) Barnhouse. He married Nellie M. Fuller, Jan 22, 1912 who survives.  Also surviving are two sons; Robert, Copley, and Jerry, Lima; two daughters Mrs Dores (Irene) Ebersole, Findlay, Mrs Robert (Betty) Stewart, Delaware; two brothers Jack, North Baltimore, and John, Van Buren.   Mr Barnhouse was a retired machinist, served with the Army prior to World War I.   He was a member of Van Buren UAB church and the IAM.  He was employed at the Gar Wood Industries plant here 30 years before retiring.  Submitted by Robert Lyon.

Jeremiah BARNHOUSE, 71, died at home near Van Buren-Funeral Tuesday afternoon.  Jeremiah Barnhouse, 71, died at 5 o'clock Saturday evening at his home one and a half miles north of Van Buren.  Mr. Barnhouse was born Feb 15, 1854, at Malvern, Carroll county Ohio.  When ten years old he moved near McComb with his parents.  He was a son of Peter and Lidia Barnhouse and the last of a family of six children. He maried
Mary Franks on Oct 6, 1876 and four children were born ot them. They are: Mrs. Mammie Lyon, of near Van Buren; John R. and Charles F. of Van Buren, and Andrew J. at Home. he is survived by his wife and 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Submitted by Robert Lyon.

LIFELONG COUNTY RESIDENT EXPIRES

Mrs. Mary BARNHOUSE, 70, dies at Home of daughter near Van Buren.   Mrs. Mary Barnhouse, 70, a lifelong resident of Hancock county, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs J.M. Lyon, two miles north of Van Buren. She had been seriously sick for three months.  The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock saturday afternoon from the United Brethen church at Van Buren, with Rev Koosts officiating. Interment will take place in the Van Buren cemetary.  Mrs Barnhouse was born n 1857 north of Van Buren, where she had lived throughout her life. Her husband died three years ago.  Four children were born to the union, all of whom survive.   They are Mrs J.M. Lyon, at whose home she died; John and Charles Barnhouse of Van Buren, and Andrew Barnhouse of Findlay.  There are two brothers John and Jackson Franks of North Baltimore.  Note: Mrs J.M. Lyon was Nancy Belle Barnhouse. She married John Minton Lyon. Submitted by Robert Lyon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie M. BARNHOUSE, 82, Route 1 Van Buren will be at 1:30pm Saturday in Kirkpatrick- Hawkins Funeral Home.   Mrs Barnhouse, a homemaker, died at 9:50 pm Wednesday in Blanchard Valley Hospital.   She was born July 6, 1894 in St Ignes, Michigan to Oscar and Emma (Bish) Fuller. She married Charles Barnhouse Jan 22, 1912 and he died Oct 9, 1964.  Surving are sons Robert, Akron; Jerry, Elida; daughter Mrs D. H. (Irene) Ebersole, Springfield; Mrs Robert (Betty) Stewart, Delaware; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Jason Fuller, grand Haven Michigan; sister Mrs Morris (Ruth) Warner, 801 Tiffin Ave, Findlay. She was a member of Van Buren United Methodist Church, the Social Society and Ladies Missionary Society for the Church. Submitted by Robert Lyon.
