Obituaries

Marion Roberta BARNHOUSE, 70, of Denver died June 16 in Mercy Medical Center. The body was cremated. Mrs. Barnhouse was born in Eldon, Mo. She was employed by the telephone company in the 1950s and was an active union member. She was a phone bank volunteer for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) in Denver. Survivors include her mother, Stella Kaelin of Denver; one sister, Mida Kaelin of New Paltz, N.Y.; five brothers, William Smith of Salt Lake City, Clyde Smith, Tom Smith, Douglas Smith and David Smith, all of Denver; and three grandchildren.
