Rodolph BARNHOUSE 19 May 1801 St. Marys Co., Maryland. Rodolph BARNHOUSE will. "In the name of God Amen I Rodolph BARNHOUSE being Sick and weak but of perfect memory think God . . . I do make this my last Will and Testament . . . my will is that Hezekiah SMOOT shall be my sole Executor of my estate. Item. I give my negro Mary to my Eldest Daughter Frances . . . Item I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth one negro boy by the name of Joe . . . between my two Daughters that is to say, Frances & Elizabeth also my will is that my two Children shall have one years schooling at the expence of my Executor and my Will is that Hezekiah SMOOT shall have the use of all the negroes until my two Daughters come to the years of sixteen . . . 16th day of April 1801."
