Professional Genealogists On Board

ProGenealogists® is a consortium of professional genealogists who specialize in genealogical, forensic, and family history research. Our firm has been in business for 10 years, serving thousands of professional, government, media, and individual clients worldwide. ProGenealogists researchers are highly skilled and well-trained, with colleagues who have logged over 120 years cumulative research experience. We can assist clients in several countries using our network of over 725 U.S. and International agents.

ProGenealogists has garnered several commendations for its voluminous and scholarly website and expert genealogical research. These include The Internet Scout Report (funded in part by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the National Science Foundation), which stated, “ProGenealogists is an unparalleled resource in genealogical research,” and “a fantastic starting point for anyone interested in conducting genealogical research.” ProGenealogists’s website was listed as one of the “Top Places to Start your Research,” by Internet Genealogy Magazine's Janice Nickerson. The firm has worked as researchers for the Ancestry.com, PBS Ancestors Series, African American Lives, the BBC’s TimeWatch series' episode entitled “The Iron Coffin,” and Showtime’s production The Tudors.

Many of the researchers in our firm benefit from being active members of and reading the scholarly journals of these organizations: the Utah Genealogical Association, the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, and the Utah Better Business Bureau. Several of our researchers are lecturers, instructors and well-known authors. Below these introductory paragraphs you will find a partial listing of our associates.

Our researchers seek truth in contemporary and historical records and we've a reputation for finding it! As you learn more about our researchers, below, we're certain you'll want to read some of our clients' testimonials.
